I have always lamented the fact that us Mas get the short end of the stick in literature.
Its been a while but when I was reading the 3 kingdoms and the other novel - canonization of the deities, the only Mas to make cameos were 2nd rate generals who only appeared for the sole purpose of being decipitated by the more important heros and/or swallowed whole by evil dragons.
You read the classics, find a passage with a Ma in it and you go, hey! a Ma, go team Ma. and then you flip the page and the bugger is dead.
Dang it, now, to have it in real history really rubs it in.
