I am a 4th generation decendant from Alexander Accom (originally Ah Khom or possibly Ah Cum. He married Maria Patten and they had 8 children in South Africa. He was born in 1818 and died in Uitenhage, South Africa in 1902. He worked there as a Stone Mason after reportedly jumping ship at Port Elizabeth, RSA. Could there possibly be some connection?
