My knowledge about WEN and SUN family in my hometown-- Shannxi province:
My surname is Wan, Wen family there had stong relationship with my clan, we call all famous Wen people there: Wen Fuci, just like Con-fuci,they were all famous officers especially in Ming dynasty, I happened to find a tomb stone of one of my ancestors in Ming dynasty, he was a high officer in my province, it was written by WEN ZAI ZHONG, one of the most famous WEN people in Chinese history, now you can find his name were carved in Confucious Temple Beijing...
Sun famly, living in a county next to my hometown--- Yao xian(county),
all Sun people are the decedants of King of medcine-- Sun Si Miao;
also in my hometown, a group of Sun people living in Bai Bao(a small village), they are telling people they are the decedants of the Monkey King--Sun Wu Kong, one reason is Hua Guo Shan is not so far from their village. I bet it's a big joke, maybe they lost their family tree or something, so they are making fun of themselves... :)
