When next you are here in Trinidad, you should check the graves and the stones, they give some info on the names of our grand father's mother, an I think that they went to Guyana first before coming to Trinidad..I'm not sure, as well as for the Chinese anniversary in Trinidad there was alot of information about the diferent Chinese families that came, you should check Trinidad and Tobago archives on St. Vincent St. I went, since I myself was also trying to retrace some history.There were names similar to Tinkew..but not as close and it gave info on the years that these men came, the plantations they went to and if they had wives.
