I'm Willem (Liang Pheng Hui), I have the same question, but this is about Liang family from Canton.
My father, Liang Siok Ming, from Canton, came to Indonesia when he was 20's yrs old. He lost
all contacts with his relatives since, 1966. My father died now and we
don't know where our relatives in China. Before dying he talked to his
sons that his village's name is Hu Teng Lei, Chiang Sha subdistrict (I
don't know if it is a right pronunciation). Could someone find the place of
my relatives based on this information? Thanks for help.
