1816 A second early affirmation of Polly's birth date and birth place, as well as her first re-baptism and re-confirmation dates (evidently on 12 June 1853), found in the Springville Ward [Utah] Historical Record, 1851-1875. Following their arrival in Utah, the Joseph Bartholomew family lived in Springville during the decade 1852 to 1861. They then departed to help settle Warm Creek, later Fayette, Utah. 1857 Record of the re-baptism of Polly Bartholomew (her second, a common occurence at that time in the Church), which took place in Springville, Utah, March 29, 1857, approximatly one week before her's and her sister Electa's sealing to Joseph Bartholomew, Sr. in the President's Office (see next entry, below): Springville Ward Historical Record, 1851-1875, FHL film # 002648. Then, as will be shown below, under 1872, after the Endowment House (1855-1889) was completed on Temple Square, in Salt Lake City, the three of them were endowed and sealed once again, on 16 September 1872.

1877 and 1912 Re-baptisms of Joseph, Polly, and Electa (as was customary in the Church at the time) on 22 July 1877, by Bishop John Bartholomew, Joseph's and Polly's son: found in the Fayette [Utah] Ward Record of Members, 1871-1950, (Part 2), FHL film # 0025955. (See Part 1 under 1816, above.) It will be noted that Joseph confirmed both his wives. Polly's death date and cause, 19 December 1912 from old age, can also be seen in the record.
