       Evelyn Eschenbaum Morrow

      

         Evelyn & Delmar Morrow

The wedding of Miss Evelyn Eschenbaum and Delmar Morrow took place at eleven –thirty Sunday morning in
Faulkton at the Catholic parsonage.  Rev. Fr. J.P. Coyne performed the ceremony.  The couple were attended by
Esther and Melvin Eschenbaum, sister and brother of the bride. 

The bride’s frock was of brown silk crepe with matching accessories.  Miss Esther Eschenbaum was dressed in
green silk with brown accessories.  The bridegroom and his attendant wore brown suits. 

A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr.  & Mrs. Wm. Eschenbaum.  The table
ppointments were in pink and white. 

A nicely decorated wedding cake, tipped bye a miniature bride and groom centered the table.    Guests besides
the newlyweds were Mr. & Mrs. R.J. Morrow and Mr.& Mrs. Kenneth Eschenbaum.

Mr. & Mrs. Delmar Morrow left on a short wedding trip.  The new home will be established near Faulkton. 

The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Wm. Eschenbaum. 
                                

Evelyn Eschenbaum was born & educated in this vicinity and was employed in Faulkton Café for several years. 

She married Delmar Morrow, son of the Dick & Cloy Morrow, Sept. 28, 1941.

They bought his parent’s farm two miles east & 3 miles north of Faulkton.  They farmed there through their working lives. 
Many Eschenbaum gatherings were held there.  Evelyn had a rather gravely voice and was always distinctive.  She was a hard working farm wife always at Delmar's side.

She and Delmar had 2 daughters and one son.  Their names are Delynn, Kathy and Richard.  Delynn married
Donald Loeb.  They had graduated the same class of Faulkton High School;   they have two sons & 1 daughter,
Troy, Brett & Dawn Loel.  She now goes by Grandma Del saying she has been called that for years.  Lives in
northern Minnesota with her husband.

Kathy married Tom Weber of rural Seneca and has three sons and one daughter.  They were farming with his
parents southwest of Seneca.  Kathy and Tom are now retired enjoying their lives, traveling to the southwest for
winter adventures.

Richard is on the west coast.  He did various careers from investments, truck driving to restaurant operating.  He
now lives in Washington state.  Richard has survived the ravages of intestinal cancer and doing fine. 

Evelyn and Delmar have passed away and buried side by side in the Faulkton cemetery
