Will of Christian Farmer, 1764-1836
In the name of God Amen.
I Christian Farmer of North Carolina State Guilford County Being of Sound and perfect mind and memory (Blessed be God) do this 20th day of July in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and Twenty Six Make This and publish this my last will and Testament in Manner Following (illegible).
First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Elizabeth Farmer all my land and possessions and any individual article that is belonging to me and all my premises as long as she keeps in my name but then if she (illegible) by marriage or the like then the Land and possessions is to fall back into the (illegible) after his death the Land and possessions are to be sold (illegible).
The heirs equally Henry Farmer has had
$120 Samuel Farmer has had $100 each must be taken out of their part of money
after the
Signed sealed published and Delivered by the said Christian Farmer the Testator as his last will and Testament in the (illegible) of us were present at the time of signing and seal there of
