SCHOTT, Christine - transcriptions
I've
recently been working on a number of transcription projects. If
you would like more information about what I'm doing, or are interested
in doing any of these types of transcriptions yourself and want to ask
me any questions, feel free to email me!
- For the US GenWeb Census Project, I'm working on a transcription
of the 1920
Baltimore, MD Enumeration District 92 census pages. As of today,
10 January 2005, I'm nearly halfway through. To volunteer to
transcribe any census Enumeration District you choose, go to the US
GenWeb Census Project Volunteer page.
- All pages of obituaries that I photocopy from microfilm I've
transcribed and sent to several sources:
These
obituaries are from the Baltimore Sun and the Baltimore News American
in the
date range of 1885-1990.
- I'm working on a transcription of the headstones in the Homestead
Cemetery, Homestead, PA 15120. This cemetery holds the bodies of
several of the victims of the US Steel Homestead riots of 1892.
When complete, I will send this transcription to the Allegheny
County, PA Tombstone Project (US GenWeb). If you are in need
of a lookup in this cemetery I would be happy to help you. Just email me with as much
information as you have and I will look into it. I can't promise
any time frame, as my work schedule varies and sometimes is 60 hours
per week for several weeks straight. But then it usually gets
lighter for several weeks, so be patient and I'll get back to you.
