Hugh Glover 1773 - 1830

Hugh Glover was born in 1773, (his wife named Mary), had a daughter Ruth born in Dalton, who was baptised in 1804. Her illegitimate son Hugh Glover, was born 1829 in Upholland.

Summary

Hugh Glover was born in 1773, in Rainford, the son of William Glover. His wife was Mary (surname unsure). It is his daughter Ruth Glover, one of ten children, who is a key factor in my family tree.

Living in Dalton until 1804 when he moved to the district of Ormskirk and later to Skelmersdale, he was a farmer for all of his life. Hugh Glover died in 1830, in Rainford, aged 56.
