Here is where I eventually intend to write the story of George and Nancy Dorton. They came from Virginia, to Kentucky and then on into Missouri, eventually settling in Callaway County. The Dorton family lived in the county from 1832 until 1952 when Robert Dorton passed away. There are still distant relatives living in the area today. I am continuing to gather information on this family. Check back for more of this story some time in the future.
