Lucille Stewart's Clam Chowder

 

2 large potatoes diced rather small

2 or 3 medium onions chopped

Add salt, pepper, celery salt and garlic salt or powder to taste.

Add 2-8 oz. cans minced clams and juice

Mix all ingredients together in pot and cook until potatoes are well done (almost mushy).  Then add:  1/2 stick butter or margarine and 1/2 gallon milk.  Heat to boiling point but do not boil.
