We are  looking for more information on Tyra Montgomery Nixon Jutton.  She was born in New York on August 10, 1889.  She was apparently an only child.  Her mother died when she was very young and Tyra was placed in a boarding school or convent school in Pennsylvania.  We are looking for information on her mother, father, and the school she was placed in as well as any other pertinent information. 

UPDATE:  Tyra's mother was Lula G. Hanna, and her father was George Allen Nixon according to her New York marriage record.  I was able to determine that Tyra was living with her grandfather Asa B. Hanna in South Waverly, Bradford, Pennsylvania, in 1900 along with her Aunt Mary and a number of cousins.  I am still searching for information on her father and his family.  I have located some information on her mother's side of the family.

UPDATE:  I have discovered that George A. Nixon's parents were Walter Nixon and Esther Kirby, both from New York.  Esther's parents were Artemesia Eggleston and possibly Cornelius Kirby.  I found the link to this family when I searched for Tyra and Fred Jutton (spelled as Jatton in the 1910 census).  I found Esther Nixon, grandmother, listed in the 1910 census living with Tyra and Fred in Syracuse, New York and worked my way back from there.
