Notes for Ezekiel Waldrop:

In his father's will of 1795, if his step-mother should rem arry, Ezekial along with 6 of his brothers would inherit al l the land, to be sold, and the money divided. The horses w ere to be divided between Ezekiel and four of his brothers . John added the following: "If Ezekiel Waldrop should di e before his children marry and Robert Waldrope shal come o f age, the money shall be kept by the Exe. until the childr en come of age." I interpret this to mean that he wanted Ez ekiel's inheritance to be divided between all of his childr en. At the time of John's death, Robert was only 6 years o f age and 4 of Ezekiel's children had not been born yet.
