1.  WILLIAM WALKER was born 24 August 1803 in St.Bees, Cumberland, son of Henry and Ruth Walker.  He married MARY NEWBY 26 May 1835 in Whitehaven, Cumberland, England, daughter of JOHN NEWBY and HANNAH.  She was born 20 December 1812 in Saint Michael, Workington, Cumberland, England.
