COLEMAN. Dec. 26 � Willis Windham, 11, retired ginner, was found dead in his bed
at his home here Saturday morning. He had been in ill health 18 months, after
having suffered a stroke.
Mr. Windham, who had lived in Coleman several years, was born Aug. 18, 1882
(?) at Tecumseh in Callahan County. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.
Todd Windham.
Funeral will be conducted at 7 p. m. Monday in Wright Funeral Chapel here, to
be followed by burial at 3 p.m. in Tecumseh Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Laura Lee Brown of Worland,
Wyo.; three sons, Fred of Spokane Wash., Leon of Union Grove. Ala., and James of
Artesia, NM; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Thompson of Silver Valley; Mrs. Eula
Preslar of Eastland; and Mrs. Myrtle Mclntyre of Tuscola; two brothers, Tom of
Tucson, Ariz.; and Hilary of Kermit; and three grandchildren.
Nephews will serve as pallbearers. |
