Sansom Funeral Scheduled Today
LAWN � Funeral for John H. Sansom, 51, a Runnels County rancher, was to be held at 2:30 pm Monday in the First Baptist Church in Lawn.

The Rev. H. B. Terry, pastor of the Tuscola Baptist Church, was to officiate, assisted by the Rev. Robert Elkins, pastor of the Lawn Baptist Church.

Burial was to be in Tuscola Cemetery under direction of Fry Funeral Home of Tuscola.
Mr. Sansom died in Hendrick Memorial Hospital in Abilene at 5:20 pm Saturday of injuries received in a truck�pickup collision 13 miles east of Winters.

He was the driver of a 2 1/2-ton trailer truck in collision with a pickup driven by John William Ketchum, 58, of Lubbock, at the intersection of FM 53 and FM 382. Ketchum died en route to Winters Memorial Hospital following the accident.

Sansom lived on Rt. 1, Goldsboro. Born Feb 21, 1911, in McColloch County, he married Jewel Bush in Brady Feb. 21, 1929. They moved to Coleman County in 1930, and for the past several years had lived in Runnels County three miles west of Goldsboro.

He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and the Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Sabra Sansom of the home, and Mrs. C. T. (Peggy) Straley of Clyde; two grandchildren, three brothers, Aubrey of Melvin, Arthur of Ovalo, and Bill of Abilene; four sisters, Mrs. N. H. Bush of Tuscola, Mrs. V. A. Jeffreys of Hobbs, N. M., Mrs. Taylor B. Lockett of Gilroy, Calif., and Mrs. Raymond Ray of Lawn.

Pallbearers were to be Wright Landers, Orville Lockett, Charles Cary, C. P. Pentcost, L. G. Haynes, and Buzy Mitchell.
