The  GenConnect Message Boards have been replaced with this single board.

We now have 14 classifications in addition to the query classification. Please, when you post a  message, select a classification for your post. 

The query board is for asking questions. 

The lookup board is for asking for specific lookups from records but be warned  that you  may not get an answer since these are volunteers that do the lookups and  there may be no one to help with  your specific request.

Registration is not required to read messages but it does enable universal changes of your account  information including e-mail changes whenever you need it, as well as helping to protect your identity  and eliminate abuse. 

You can create your own My Favorites list of message boards. 
You can set up the My Notifications options to receive notice when others post. 
Users can search the Message Board by classifications or you can search the entire Message Board System.
