Falls, Welland Co. Ont. Canada. He married Rosaria Marie Sgambati Christopher on 2 Sept. 1949.
James Tober was born 2 Feb 1895, Zala Megye, Hungary and died 13 Sep 1977, Welland Co., Ont. Canada. It is believed that James immigrated to Canada betwen 1918-1920, supposedly coming over on a cattle boat and landing at Halifax, Nova Scotia.
James married three times:
1) Valerie Nagy, born 1905, Hungary and died 1975, Welland Co. Ont.
Canada.
2) Vera Nagy, born Hungary and died 1928, Welland co. Ont. Canada.
3) Elizabeth Myers, born Hungary, buried Smithville, South Grimsby Twp.,
Lincoln Co. Ont.
Rose Christopher, daughter of John & Mary Sgambati Christopher, was born 24 Nov 1919, Port Robinson, Welland Co. Ont. Canada.
Giovanni di Christoforo, aka John Christopher was born 6 Mar 1873, Italy and died 10 Jun 1956. It's believed that John immigrated to Canada around Immigrated around 1886 -1887. He married around 1904 to Marie Carmella Sgambati. She was born 16 Jul 1880, Italy and died 25 Oct 1941, Welland Co. Ont. Canada. Both John and Mary are buried in the Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls, Ont. Canada.
