Below are two documents. The first is a statement by the Administrator of the Estate, Solomon S. Spalding, in which he named the heirs of Early Alberson, deceased. The second document is the oathe and bond by this same Solomon S. Spalding as administrator of the estate.

With respect to Solomon Alberson, Spalding stated: "Solomon Alberson when last heard from was residing in Baker County, Oregon."

This clearly establishes that the Early Alberson who died in Miller County, Missouri, in 1865, was the father of Solomon Alberson of Baker County, Oregon. (Note: Elsewhere on this site is a land transaction in 1852 in which Minerva is named as the wife of an Early Albertson who lived in Miller County, Missouri in 1852. Since they are believed to be the same person, it is believed that the name of the mother of Solomon Alberson was Minerva.)
