She was loved by all who knew her, and leaves to mourn her loss a husband and five sons, a nephew whom she raised from a babe, and two brothers and three sisters.

Asleep in Jesus, blessed sleep,
From which none ever wake to weep,
We miss thee from our home, dear mother,
We miss thee from thy place.
A shadow o'er our life is cast,
We miss thy kind and willing hand,
Thy kind and earnest care.
Our home is dark without thee,
We miss thee everywhere.
