Golda Donaker Taylor
     Golda Donaker was born on 15 March 1884 in Millersburg, Iowa County, Iowa, USA.2 She was the daughter of William Edgar Donaker and Hattie M. Stackhouse.1,2
          In 1887, Golda moved with her parents to Rockwell, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.2 Golda, age illegible, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1900 Federal Census in Jolley, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.3 Follow the link to see the census image. Golda married Charles Lloyd Taylor circa 1906. He was 23 and she was 22.2 Golda and Charles had two children. These children are Margaret and Edgar C..2
          Charles, age 37, and Golda, age 35, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census in Jolley. Also enumerated in this household were their two children, Margaret (age 12) and Edgar (age 11). They rent their dwelling.4 Follow the link to see the census image.
          Charles, age 47, and Golda, age 46, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census in Butler Township, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA. Also enumerated in this household was Mrs. Hattie M. (Stackhouse) Donaker, Golda's mother. They own their house (valued at $2700) and they also own a radio. Charles does not have an occupation listed.1 In 1934, Golda and Charles were living in Jolley.5 Charles died in 1940, leaving Golda a widow.2 Golda died on 6 January 1968 at Park View Manor Nursing Home in Sac City, Sac County, Iowa, USA.2 She was 83 years, 9 months, and 21 days old.2 She was buried at Crown Hill Cemetery in Jolley, Calhoun County, Iowa, USA.2 An obituary was published for Golda in her remembrance card.
