Sadie (--?--) was born circa 1862 in Ohio.1 Her married name was Mrs. Sadie Thomas but her husband's name is unknown.2
Sadie, age 58, was enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census at 209 Liberty Street in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio. Also enumerated in this household were Ethel Christina Macke, her granddaughter; Johann George Macke, her son-in-law and 4 year-old Frank Macke who is listed as a boarder. I have made several working assumptions about these relationships. I assume that George is Ethel's father and that Frank is George's nephew.1 Sadie worked as a pro(?)tor in a candy store.1 Follow the link to see the census image.
