     Ina T. Upton was born on 3 January 1884 in Iowa.^1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of (?) Upton and (?) Maltby.⁵ Ina married Samuel Adelbert Millslagle, son of Thomas Millslagle and Eliza Baumgardner, on 23 January 1902 at her father's house in Eldora, Hardin County, Iowa. He was about 27 and she was about 18.^6,7 He was abourt 27 years old; she was about 18 years old. Ina and Samuel had 5 children but only three are alive at enumeration of the 1910 census. These children are Eugene T., Frances P. and Donald.⁸
          Samuel, age 35, and Ina, age 26, were enumerated on the 1910 Federal Census at Township 12 North, Range 17 East in Meade County, South Dakota. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Eugene (age 7 years) and Frances (5 months).⁸ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Dell, age 46, and Ina, age 36, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census in Maine Prairie Township, Stearns County, Minnesota. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Eugene (age 17) and Francis (age 9). They rent their dwelling.⁹ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Samuel, age 56, and Ina, age 46, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 3301 W. Broadway in Council Bluffs, Pottawattamie County, Iowa. Also enumerated in this household were two of their children: Frances (age 20) and Donald (age 4 years and 11 months). Another son, Eugene is not living with them. They rent their dwelling for $32 monthly. They do not have a radio and Dell is not a military veteran.¹⁰ Follow the link to see the census image. Samuel died on 5 July 1950, leaving Ina a widow.¹¹ Ina died on 29 September 1960 in Stearns County, Minnesota.¹² She was 76 years old.
