b. 24 April 1757
Last Edited=10 Jun 2004

Anna Christina Mühlschlägel was born on 24 April 1757 at Peters Church in Berks County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel and Anna Maria Emmitt.1 She went by the name Christina.2 This is part of Andreas' diary translated from German: "24 April 1757 my daughter Anna Christina is born to the world, the witnesses were Niclaus and his wife Anna Christina. The child was baptized in the [unclear] church by the Swiss minister."1
Christina married Daniel Loy, son of John Loy and Elizabeth Kumpf, circa 1776. Christina was about 19 years old. Daniel's age is unknown.2 Christina and Daniel had at least 7 children. Only the names of 3 are known. These children are Andrew, John and Jacob.2 In 1782, Christina and Daniel were living in Frederick County, Virginia. They had 5 sons at this time.2
Circa 1790, Christina and Daniel moved to Hampshire County, Virginia.2 The 1790 census records for Virginia have been lost. Other sources for residence information will need to be found. The 1800 census records for Virginia have been lost. Other sources for residence information will need to be found.
Daniel was enumerated on the 1810 census for Hampshire Co as Daniel Loy, aged 45 years and older. Based on ages, it is possible that Christina was also living in the household aged 45 years and older.3 Follow the link to see the census image. At first I thought these dates were baptizism dates but in his last entry he writes "born to the world and then prepared for holy baptism" which made me think his entries were birth dates.
