Nora A. Lawley was born in January 1874 in Illinois.² Nora married Arthur G. Haines, son of James Haines and Mayra (?), on 7 September 1892 in Sangamon County, Illinois.^1,3 Nora and Arthur may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Hazel.
Arthur, age 27, and Nora, age 25, were enumerated on the 1900 Federal Census in Cotton Hill Township, Sangamon County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their daughter, Hazel (age 7 months), and a niece, Lefa Smith (age 16, not entered into this database).
