     Sadie B. Masks was born circa 1884 in Pennsylvania.^1,2 She was the daughter of Phoebe (?).³ Sadie married Elmer L. Millslagle circa 1907.⁴ Sadie and Elmer had at least 3 children. These children are Helen J., James W. and Louis.
          Elmer, age 25, and Sadie, age 26, were enumerated on the 1910 Federal Census at North 6th Street in Duquesne, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Also enumerated in this household were their children Helen (age 2) and James (age 5 months). They rent their house.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Elmer died between 1916 and 1920, leaving Sadie a widow.⁶ Sadie, age 35, was enumerated in the household of her mother on the 1920 Federal Census at 212 Paterson Avenue in Rankin, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.³ Sadie worked as a grocery clerk.³ Follow the link to see the census image.
