Descendant of J.A.M. Anna Maria Mühlschlägel
b. 22 January 1765, d. November 1836
Last Edited=10 Jun 2004

Anna Maria Mühlschlägel was born on 22 January 1765 at Peters Church in Berks County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel and Anna Maria Emmitt.1 Anna has also been reported as being born on 22 August 1759 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. I think that this may be the birthdate and Andreas' date may be a baptism.2 Here is part of her father's diary translated from German: "22 January 1765 my daughter is born to the world, my mother-in-law held the child over the baptism and gave her the name Anna Maria."1 She followed German naming customs and went by the name of Mary.2
Circa 1770, Anna moved to Virginia.2
Anna married John Park, son of John Park (Junior), on 28 March 1786 in Hampshire County, Virginia.2 Mary and John had 8 children but only the names of 7 are known. These children are Jacob, Soloman, Azariah, Catherine, Abraham, Enoch and George. The 1790 census records for Virginia have been lost. Other sources for residence information will need to be found. The 1800 census records for Virginia have been lost. Other sources for residence information will need to be found.
John was enumerated on the 1820 census for Hampshire Co as John Park Jun., aged over 45. Based on ages, it is possible that Mary was also living in the household aged over 45.3 Follow the link to see the census image. 1810 U.S. Census, Hampshire County, Virginia, page #791 Follow the link to see the census image. John and Mary sold land to Enoch Park 1822 in Virginia.2 They sold additional land in 1827.2
Before 1830, Mary and John moved to Pickaway County, Ohio.2 John died on 8 September 1831, leaving Anna a widow.2 Mary died in November 1836 in Pickaway Co.2 She was 71 years old.
She is the daughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.

At first I thought these dates were baptizism dates but in his last entry he writes "born to the world and then prepared for holy baptism" which made me think his entries were birth dates.
