     Stephen Pratt (Junior) was born on 3 August 1784 in Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts.^1,2 Stephen married Drusilla Loveland on 13 March 1804 in Greenfield, Franklin County, Massachusetts. They were about 19 years old.³ Stephen and Drusilla had at least 10 children. These children are Sally Ann, Stephen Otis, Phildelia, Phebe, Clymena, Jeremiah, Eunice Elvira, Rebecca Drusilla, Lovina Elizabeth and Abigail Jane.^1,4
          Stephen was enumerated on the 1810 census for Middlefield, Otsego County, New York as S. Pratt, aged between 26 and 44 years old. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: Drusilla, his wife, aged between 16 and 25. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with him: two boys under 10. There are two S. Pratts listed on the 1810 Census for Middlefield. This record is the record that has the correct age for our Stephen Pratt. The other S. Pratt is younger that we would expect.⁵
          Stephen died on 15 January 1841 in Middlefield.^1,4 He was 56 years old. He and Drusilla were buried in Baptist Church in Westville, Otsego County, New York.¹ Stephen is the earliest known progenerator for this family.
