Anna Margretha Mühlschlägel was born on 3 July 1769 at Peters Church in Berks County, Pennsylvania.1
She was the daughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel and Anna Maria Emmitt.1
Here is the entry from her father's diary, translated from German: "my daughter is born to the world, her godmother was Michel Hantzel's daughter of the name Maria Margretha but she gave the child the name Anna Margretha. This child and the others named above were all baptized by Jacob Preacher Michael in the Peters Church."1
She followed German naming customs and went by the name of Margaret.
She is the daughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
