Eunice Northrup

     Eunice Northrup was born on 6 October 1735 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.¹ She was the daughter of Jabez Northrup and Sarah Lobdell.¹ Eunice married Enos Northrup, son of John Northrup and Rebecca Roberts.¹ Eunice and Enos had at least two boys but only the name of one child is known, John.²
          Enos was enumerated on the 1800 census for Dutchess County, New York. It is possible that Eunice was also living in the household.³ Enos died on 11 September 1807, leaving Eunice a widow.¹
          Eunice was enumerated on the 1810 census for Washington, Dutchess County, New York as Unice Northrup, aged over 45. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with her: one male aged between 10 and 15.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. Eunice died on 1 May 1822 in Dutchess County, New York.¹ She was 86 years old.
