     Anna Margretha Mühlschlägel was born on 27 March 1715 in Lachen-Speyerdorf, Palatinate, Bayern, Germany.¹ She was the daughter of Hans Henrich Mühlschlägel and Maria Apolonia Hamman.² She was christened on 31 March 1715 at Lachen-Speydorf Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirche, in Lachen. Her godmother was Frau Anna Margretha, now, Nichol WOLF's [NOTE: Roth?] legitimate official (?) wife Peter's mother.² She probably followed German naming customs and went by the name of Margretha.
          Anna Margretha married Johann Josua Gros, son of Philip Lorenz Gros, on 21 October 1733 in Lachen.³ He probably went by the name Josua. He was about 22 years old; she was 18.
          She is the sister of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
