Johann Henrich Mühlschlägel was born on 26 July 1728 in Lachen-Speyerdorf, Palatinate, Bayern, Germany.¹ He was the son of Hans Henrich Mühlschlägel and Maria Apolonia Hamman.¹ He was christened on 1 August 1728 at Lachen-Speydorf Evangelisch-Reformierte Kirche, in Lachen. His godfather was Johann Henrich FREYTAG, the miller's legitimate son, Johann Muller.¹ He followed German naming customs and went by the name of Henrich. Johann died on 15 March 1729 in Lachen.¹ He was about 8 months old. He is the brother of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
