     Bryson Millslagle was born on 22 January 1903 in Illinois.^1,2,3 He was the son of Andrew Millslagle and Elnora Cudney.⁴ Bryson, age 17, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1910 Federal Census in Winslow Township, Washington County, Arkansas. Bryson, age 16, was enumerated in the household of his grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Cudney, on the 1920 Federal Census at 819 Sycamore in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri. He does not attend school.⁵ Bryson worked as an "essembler" for a shoe factory.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image. Bryson married Madaline F. Tavitt, daughter of Mary A. (?), circa 1928.⁶
          Bryson, age 26, and Madaline, age 18, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 209 William in Dearborn Township, Wayne County, Michigan. Also enumerated in this household were Madaline's brother, Herbert H. Tavitt, and her mother, Mrs. Mary A. Tavitt. Their last name is a little illegible so I may have misread the last part of the surname. They own their house which was valued at $3500 and they have a radio.⁷ Bryson worked as a machinist in an auto plant.⁷ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Bryson died in June 1963.¹ He was 60 years old. His Social Security Number was 385-05-2059 and was issued in Michigan.¹

I am going with the Illinois birthplace because it was closer to the event and he is living with his parents. His father was born in Virginia and his mother was born in Indiana.
