     Lucille Estes was born on 19 August 1900 in Taylorville, Christian County, Illinois.^1,2,3 She was the daughter of Ennis Estes and Lenna Wheeler.¹ Lucille married Floyd Milslagle in 1919.^1,4 Lucille and Floyd may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Gerald M..
          Floyd, age 31, and Lucille, age 29, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at Willow Road in Taylorville Township, Christian County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household was their son, Gerald, age 6. The rent for their dwelling is $12 monthly. They own a radio. Floyd is not a veteran.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Floyd died in May 1972, leaving Lucille a widow.⁶ Lucille died on 8 December 1999 at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital in Taylorville.^1,3 She was 99 years old.
