Betsey Hoag was born circa 1799.1
She may have been enumerated on the 1810 census for Washington, Dutchess County, New York in the household of her suspected father, Philip Hoag, as a female aged from ten to sixteen years old; Philip Hoag, aged 45 and over.2

Betsey married Theodorus Bailey Northrup, son of John Northrup and Mary Gould, on 8 March 1822 in Dutchess County, New York.1
Betsey and Theodorus had 4 children. These children are Jane Amelia, Catherine, Jared Hoag and Homer David.3
Betsey died on 21 April 1830 in Dutchess County, New York.1
She was about 31 years old.
