Last Edited=10 May 2004

Amy Jackson was born circa 1807.1 Her married name was Mrs. Amy Brewer but her husband's name is unknown.1 Amy had at least 4 children from her first marriage but their names are not known.1 Amy married Theodorus Bailey Northrup, son of John Northrup and Mary Gould.1 It is his third marriage; it is her second.1 Amy and Theodorus had 4 children. These children are Minerva, Theodorus, Sarah and Susan.2 When she married Theodorus, she became the stepmother of his 8 children. These children were: Jane Amelia, Catherine, Jared Hoag, Homer David, Elizabeth Ann, John Nelson, Mary Drusilla and Ophelia. Theodorus then moved to Pottsville, Washington County, Iowa around 1850. According to Clyde Northrup, his wife, Amy, "refused to follow his waunderings." Based on his continued travels, I believe that he left and continued to wander. I do not know where she stayed or if they divorced. He does remarry but I do not have Amy's death date.1
