Philip Hoag
b. before 1775
Last Edited=25 Jun 2004

Philip Hoag was born before 1775.1
Philip was enumerated on the 1810 census for Washington, Dutchess County, New York as Philip Hoag, aged 45 and over. Based on ages, it is possible that the following were also living in the household: Betsey, aged ten to fifteen years old. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with him: two males under 10; two males and two females between 10 and 15; two males and one female between 16 and 25; and two males between 26 and 44. Philip lives in the same area as Betsey Hoag (who married Theodorus Northrup). He has children the correct age to be Betsey. I suspect him to be the father of Betsey.2 Follow the link to see the census image. [1810 U.S. Census, Washington, Dutchess County, New York, page 27
