     Joseph Northrup was born circa 1603 in Derbyshire, England.2 Joseph married Katharine Birdsey circa 1618.1 Joseph and Katharine may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Joseph. Their child, Joseph, was born in 1623 in Kent, County Yorkshire, England.3,4 Joseph died circa 1690.5 He was about 87 years old. Joseph is the earliest known progenerator for this family.
