     Richard Norton was born circa 1597 in Sharpenhoe, Bedfordshire, England.2 He was the son of William Norton and Dionisia Cholmeley.3,4 Richard married Elizabeth Rowley on 1 June 1615.5 Richard married Lettice Norton.5 Richard and Lettice had 10 children. These children have not been entered into this database. Their names are: John (born about 17 Jan 1615/16), George (born about 22 Feb 1616/17), John (born about 8 May 1619), Robert (born about 15 Apr 1620), Ellen (born about 15 Dec 1622), John (born between 1622 and 1628 in London, Essex, England), Dorothy (born about 11 Jan 1622/23), Luke (born about 19 Jun 1625), Richard (born about 21 Nov 1626), and William (born about 4 Nov 1629).6
