     Andrew J. Milslagel was born circa 1815 in Morgan County, Ohio.^1,2 He was the son of Andrew Milslagel and _____ (?) (wife of Andrew Millslagel).³ He may have been enumerated on the 1820 census for Noble Township, Morgan County, Ohio in the household of his father as a male aged from newborn to ten years old.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. He may have been enumerated on the 1830 census for Noble Twp in the household of his father as a male aged ten to fifteen years old.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image.
          Andrew married Rosetta (?) in Iowa.⁶ Andrew and Rosetta may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, George W..
          Andrew, age 65, and Rosetta, age 23, were enumerated on the 1880 Federal Census in De Witt Township, Clinton County, Iowa. Also enumerated in this household was their son, George W., age 2.⁷ He is the great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
