Caleb Lobdell

     Caleb Lobdell was born on 1 February 1716 in Ridgefield, Fairfield County, Connecticut.1 He was the son of Joshua Lobdell (I) and Eunice Olmstead.1 Caleb married Elizabeth (?) on 27 June 1749.2 He was 33 years old; her age is not known. Elizabeth died in November 1752, leaving Caleb a widower.2 Caleb married Bethia Paddock, daughter of Zachariah F. Paddock and Elizabeth Howes, on 19 July 1758.2 It is his second marriage. He was 42 years old; she was 28. Bethia died after 1761, leaving Caleb a widower.2 Caleb married Ruth (?).2 It is his third marriage.2
          Caleb was enumerated on the 1790 census for Ridgefield. I have not been able to identify these people that were also enumerated with him: one female.3 Follow the link to see the census image. 1790 U.S. Census, Ridgefield, Fairfield, Connecticut, page 294 Caleb died on 17 January 1803 in Ridgefield.1 He was 86 years old.
