     Cordon Findley Milslagle was born circa 1866.1,2,3,4 He was the son of Jacob Milslagle and Jane Edmiston.1 Cordon, age 4, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1870 Federal Census for the St. David Post Office in Buckheart Township, Fulton County, Illinois.5 Follow the link to see the census image.           Cordon married Angeline Vanorder, daughter of Horace Vanorder and Sarah Begntol, on 10 August 1888 in Schuyler County, Illinois. He was about 22 and she was about 19.7,8 Cordon and Angeline had eight children. Only six of these children were living at the time of the 1910 census. These children are Nathaniel, Harry, Chester, John, Hester and Lillie May.
          Cordon, age 44, and Angeline, age 40, were enumerated on the 1910 Federal Census in Buena Vista, Schuyler County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their children: Chester, age 16, Hester, age 14, Lillie May, age 12, and Johnnie, age 5. They own their house.           Cordon, age 55, was enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census at 336 Midroth Street in Peoria, Peoria County, Illinois. He is a boarder in the house of Henry and Mary Sutter.           Cordon died on 2 January 1922 in Macomb, McDonough County, Illinois.11,12 He was about 56 years old. He and Angeline were buried in Sugar Grove Cemetery in Rushville, Schuyler County, Illinois.7
          He is the 2nd great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
