Rose Millslagle was born on 6 August 1878 in Oakland Township, Schuyler County, Illinois.^1,2 She was the daughter of Levi Richard Milslagle and Lavina Smith.^3,1 Her name has also been given as Rosa. Rose, age 1, was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1880 Federal Census in Oakland, Schuyler County, Illinois.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. Her married name was Mrs. Rose Rhea but her husband's name is unknown.³ Rose died on 26 January 1911.⁵ She was 32 years old. She is the 3rd great-granddaughter of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
