Roy worked as a concrete worker for the railroad.3

Roy, age 33, and Irene, age 26, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 301 N (or W) Florence Avenue in Carondelet, St. Louis County, Missouri. They own their house which was valued at $1500. Ray is a veteran of the World War, now known as World War I.1
Roy worked as a sole cutter in a shoe factory.1
