Roy A. Millslagle was born circa 1897 in Oklahoma.² Roy, age 23, was enumerated in the household of his grandmother, Mrs. Sarah Cudney, on the 1920 Federal Census at 819 Sycamore in Hannibal, Marion County, Missouri.³ Roy worked as a concrete worker for the railroad.³ Follow the link to see the census image. Roy, age 33, and Irene, age 26, were enumerated on the 1930 Federal Census at 301 N (or W) Florence Avenue in Carondelet, St. Louis County, Missouri. They own their house which was valued at $1500. Ray is a veteran of the World War, now known as World War I.¹ Roy worked as a sole cutter in a shoe factory.¹
