     George W. Brody was born in 1870 in Illinois.^2,3 George married Mary Milslagle, daughter of Jacob Milslagle and Jane Edmiston, on 13 November 1893 in Woodstock, Schuyler County, Illinois.^2,4 George and Mary had at least 5 children. These children are William R., Lillia M., Alyce, Luianda and Lucius.⁵
          George, age 48, and Mary, age 44, were enumerated on the 1920 Federal Census at 620 Union Street in Kewanee, Henry County, Illinois. Also enumerated in this household were their children: William (age 18), Lillia (age 18), Alyce (age 17), Luianda (age 14), Lucius (age 11). William H. Millslagle (nephew, age 23) also lives with them. George's name was given as William G. Brody. They own their dwelling which appears to be in an apartment building.⁵ George worked as a boiler maker for a boiler company.⁵ Follow the link to see the census image.
          George died sometime after 1920.⁶
