Jacob Fogle was born on 28 January 1826 in Noble County, Ohio.¹ Jacob married Nancy Ackley, daughter of Daniel Ackley and Asenith (?), on 17 February 1848 in Morgan County, Ohio.¹ He was 22 years old; she was 20 years old. Nancy died on 3 March 1882, leaving Jacob a widower.¹ Jacob died on 15 January 1898 in Ross County, Ohio.¹ He was 71 years old.
