Elizabeth Merry was born circa 1811 in Milford, Otsego County, New York.¹ She was the daughter of Ambrose Merry and Margaret Wickham.¹ Elizabeth married Obediah Ackley, son of Daniel Ackley and Asenith (?), circa 1831.¹ Elizabeth and Obediah had at least ten children. These children are Daniel, Hannah, Asceneth, Amanda, Hiram, Calton, Lewis, Margaret Marilla, Phoebe and Arie.¹ He was 24 years old; she was 20 years old. Elizabeth died circa 1859 in Noble County, Ohio.¹ She was about 48 years old.¹
