George W. Millslagle was born in February 1850 in Virginia.^1,2,3 He was the son of Uriah Milslagle and Maria Fertick.¹ George, age 5 months, was enumerated in the household of his parents on the 1850 Federal Census in District #24, Hampshire County, Virginia.⁴ Follow the link to see the census image. He is the 2nd great-grandson of Johann Andreas Mühlschlägel, original immigrant.
