John Fertick was born circa 1775 in Virginia.1

John may have had numerous children but I only know the name of one child, Maria.
John, age 75, was enumerated in the household of his daughter, Maria, and son-in-law, Uriah Milslagle, on the 1850 Federal Census in District #24, Hampshire County, Virginia. He does not have an occupation listed and he is unable to read or write.2
